Confidential Complaint Policy
This policy provides a confidential and independent avenue for individuals to report complaints or concerns anonymously, regarding activities that may involve improper conduct or violations of the University policies to the Internal Auditor and the Board Chairman/Audit Committee.
The Administration of the University of the Southern Caribbean expects that all employees will perform their duties in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, University policy and procedures, and the highest ethical standards.
The University of the Southern Caribbean is committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct and encourages employees and others to report any dishonest or improper act by any individual. Such acts include any financial concerns, fraud, ethical concerns, conflicts of interest, noncompliance with university’s policies or governmental requirements.
Therefore any complaint or concern submitted by an individual will be handled on a confidential and anonymous basis, unless the individual waives anonymity.
This policy is applicable to any individual(s) who may have information about any activities that adversely affects the University.
Please note that this policy excludes any grievances which must follow the steps outlined in the relevant handbooks such as: Faculty, Staff or Student handbook and the Caribbean Union Conference of SDA Employees Handbook.
