Lifestyle and Wellness Extravaganza
On Sunday April 17, 2016, The Mountain View Park buzzed came alive as tents filled with teams of Doctors, Nurses, other Health Professional and students scurried to and fro.
The scene was the Lifestyle and Wellness Extravaganza: for families and friends, one of the University's many forms of outreach to the community focusing on one of the SDA Church's tennets; Health.
In attendence were the The Minister of Community Development, Culture and the Arts, Dr. The Honourable Nyan Gadsby-Dolly, Dr. Zeno L. Charles-Marcel, Associate Director of Health in the General Conference of Seventh Day Adventists, Mr. Bertie Henry, Treasurer of the Caribbean Union of Seventh-Day Adventists, Pastor Leslie Moses, President of the South Caribbean Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists and many more distinguished personalities.
The day was well attended by members of the community who showed great appreciation for the effort and hold hope that the university would continue to offer such vital services.
