Theology Trumps Humanities in Mid-Semester Football Match

A friendly co-ed game between students from the School of Theology and Religion and the School of Humanities took place on Thursday October 13, on the USC playing field. Anxious spectators gathered to witness the outcome of the game.

After battling on the field for about 20 minutes, the game was in favour of the Theology team 4 –nil. When the School of Humanities scored their first goal, the celebration could have been heard from across campus and the men and women from Humanities rejoiced over the first score.

However, in the end, the game went in favour of the Theology team who won by an exhilarating nine goals. The final score: 11 – 2.

This friendly game accorded the student a “good sweat” and all went home being satisfied with the day’s events.
