The Language Centre at USC extends gratitude
Nursing continues to evolve with introduction of enhanced technical skills, but according to Phyllis Woolford, director of the Department of Nurse Education,  at the University of the Southern Caribbean (USC), “despite the technical evolution which is essential to improving the profession, what is even more critical, are the core tenets of compassion and an extended love for patient care.”

Lenin Thomas, 30, is a member of a unique Amerindian tribe living in a part of Guyana’s rainforests so remote it is accessible only by airplane. He is also a final year theology student at the University of Southern Caribbean (USC) in Maracas Valley, a fairly normal achievement for many but a significant accomplishment for him.


Cross-cultural learning principles are continuously employed by the University of the Southern Caribbean (USC) across the broad spectrum of their graduate and under-graduate programmes.
The English as a Second Language (ESL) students returning to USC this semester were joined by a special group from the North Colombia Union, and lecturers from Corporación Universitaria Adventista, as part of an Inter-Union Executive Exchange Programme

USC Barbados receives Institutional Accreditation from the Accreditation Council of Trinidad and Tobago (ACTT). 

USC and the IBF entered an agreement to provide specific training to employees of the banking and financial services sector through blended short courses.
