Mission Statement
The School of Social Sciences is dedicated to generate and transmit knowledge to create purposeful and dynamic leaders.
Goals
This School’s goal is to:
- To introduce students to the salient discoveries and procedures accumulated from research in the Social Sciences through the assistance of Christian Instructors.
- To translate our Mission Statement into daily behavior.
- To encourage creativity and initiative.
- To encourage teamwork and team spirit.
- To nurture excellence and productivity.
- To nurture an environment of moral values and spiritual growth.
- To empower students to utilize this knowledge in furthering the mission of Seventh-day Adventists: restoring men and women to the image of their Maker.
The School fulfills these goals by three principal means:
- Instruction by Christian professors
- Course work, which develops a strong liberal-arts foundation and interdisciplinary preparation, leading to many different fields of Christian service.
