The mock interview that was coordinated by the career Development Services department was very fulfilling. Since my arrival at this institution, it is the first time that I have experience an exercise of this nature.

I must confess that at first I was reluctant to take part in the exercise but after consistent “harassment” by my roommate and encouragement by members of the Career Development Services department, I was lured into participating in the event.

Indeed, this initiative of the career development Services department reflects the University’s motto “beyond excellence.”

The boundaries of excellence are beyond the classroom and exam room. It stretches into the world of work and beyond.

These exercises, mock interviews and business “expo,” facilitate smooth transitioning from university into the field of work.

The participating students, gain confidence feels good about themselves and gets a chance to cover up the patches of weakness identified.

I strongly approve it and recommend that all students participate in these exercises before stepping out the gates of USC.
