Things to Remember
Over the last year, administrators, faculty, staff and students have spent time planning the future of USC. These plans have been compiled in a strategic document and will map the way forward for the next four-years.
It outlines the vision of the University and follows through to fulfilling the dream that was born since the founding fathers of the institution began this school in 1927. It was a vision that led to the birth of the Eastern Caribbean Training School and a dream that has taken us from being just a school to a University. With that vision, we endeavor to become a Seventh-day Adventist University fully reflecting the character of God through spiritual, intellectual, physical, social and cultural development.
Among the goals listed in the strategic plan are:
- Review current academic offerings for rigor and relevance and develop appropriate programmes and degrees in response to documented needs of stakeholders.
- Refine and develop processes for assessment of institutional quality including assessment of all programme offerings.
- Increase enrollment to 5,000 students while developing a diverse and engaged student body.
