USC’s Link Up for Life: Nip it in the Bud programme continued on April 9, with health checks and screening at the San-Fernando SDA Primary School. The afternoon featured a dynamic symposium, attended by Government officials and professionals in the health sector who spoke to the issue of lifestyle diseases which plague our societies,
A colourful parade aimed at promoting the two-day "Nip it in the Bud" Health Fair and Screening programme, which form part of this year’s Link-Up for Life activities, took place on April 8, 2014 in San-Fernando, followed by a Health Fair and Screening for children at the San-Fernando SDA Primary School.
The second annual Link-Up for Life week of activites was launched during a Breakfast Meeting on Friday, April 4, 2014 at the University’s Social Sciences Auditorium. USC has linked-up with charity, HANDS International, with the aim of inspiring individuals to adopt positive values and a healthy lifestyle through the events that they will host during the week.
